Frank's Bio

After graduation Frank was employed by Champion Foundry in Piqua where he was a molder. Frank remained at Champion for 44 years.  Frank married Alberta Lear and they had 4 children; Scotty Joe (deceased), Rhonda, Jody and Lisa.  There are nine grandchildren; Joshua, Brandy and Charlie (children of Scotty Joe), Holly (daughter of Rhonda), Scotty and Tiffany (children of Jody), and Jessie (deceased), Daniel and Bryan (children of Lisa).

He was an Assistant Boy Scout Leader for about 8 years and he really enjoyed camping and hiking with the boys.  Almost every weekend Frank had free from scouting activities was spent camping with his family.  Everyone enjoyed camping because Frank was usually out doing something with the kids. Later, when Frank and Alberta's children were grown and had their own families, they would go camping with them.  Nearly every weekend one or two of the grandchildren would be camping with Frank and Alberta.  They really enjoyed fishing bur mostly Frank baited the hooks and took off the fish.  He liked seeing the little ones catch fish.  Frank also enjoyed making muzzleloaders.  The ones he made are on the wall and will be handed down to his sons and grandsons.

One of his most favorite trips was the one to El Paso, TX to visit 3 grandchildren.  But his first love was camping.

Frank was a lifelong member of the Bradford Am Vets and he had spent four years in the United States Marine Corps.

Frank left this life on December 20, 1999.  He was a lovng husband and devoted father and is missed very much by his family.
