Fred's Bio After graduation Fred entered the United States Navy where he served from October 14, 1953 until September 19, 1957. He joined the United States Air Force for a term from January 20, 1958 until May 31, 1976, rising to the rank of Master Sergeant.  Fred was stationed at many bases during his military service to his country:  Amarillo, TX (1958),  Misawa SH - Asmoricastle, CA (1959 - 61),  Dover, DE (1961 - 62),  Chanute, IL (1962 - 67), Amarillo, TX (1967),  Castle, CA (1968), U-Tapao, Thailand (1969),  McCoy, FL (1970 - 71),  Davis Mountain, AZ (1971 - 72),  Mather, CA (1972 - 76). Fred was employed at Corning Glass in Greenville, OH for fourteen and a half years. Fred enjoyed many hobbies including bass fishing, gold panning, restoring antique furniture and visiting museims and antique shops. Fred and Mildred's children are Timothy Wombold, Gale Grody/Queen and Dianne Schaefer.  Their grandchildren are, Patrick and Nicholas Grody,  Katelynne Queen,  Jasmine and Jeffrey Schaefer.
